Cocktails for a Cause is officially next week, and we cannot wait to bring this incredible night to life.

Today was a meaningful day for The Jolly Trolley Foundation. 💛🚎

Our board member Suan Tinsley visited Star of Hope Mission to meet with Dr. Thomas and see firsthand the impact our Jolly Trolley program is making for the children living there.

Our program brings movement based enrichment, confidence building activities, and joyful play to children experiencing incredibly difficult circumstances. What may look like a simple trolley visit is actually something much deeper. It is a moment where kids can move, laugh, and simply be children again.

We are so grateful for our partnership with Star of Hope and for leaders like Suan who believe deeply in this mission.

As we prepare for Cocktails for a Cause this May, moments like today remind us exactly why this work is worth celebrating and supporting.

Together we are bringing movement, joy, and hope to Houston’s children. 💛

Jaden and his siblings are currently experiencing housing insecurity. Life feels uncertain in ways no child should have to navigate. But inside the trolley, even for a little while, they get to just be kids.

They laugh loudly.
They lean in close for storytime.
They know their favorite parts of Holly the Jolly Trolley by heart. 🚎📚

For families facing instability, consistency matters.
A weekly visit.
A familiar book.
A safe space filled with movement, music, and imagination.

Throughout the year, we roll into shelters and community centers across Houston bringing movement, literacy, music, and joy to children who need it most.

Now we’re inviting YOU to be part of it in a new way.

Cocktails for a Cause will be a beautiful evening filled with community, celebration, and purpose — all to support the children we serve across our city.

We are honored to have Jacob Rascon from KHOU joining us as our event host, and we cannot wait to gather with people who believe in this mission as much as we do.

Toy delivery day at Star of Hope was pure magic 🎁✨
Seeing the smiles, excitement, and wonder on the children's faces reminded us exactly why this work matters.
