The Day the Earth stood still

The thought that on the anniversary of the fall of Roe v. Wade a year ago, the practice of aborting babies in Texas continues to be prohibited, is hardly believable. It is one thing for us to experience that glorious day here in Texas when abortions stopped, but it is another thing to experience its anniversary without pro-abortion politicians’ tactics to successfully circumvent the prohibition. Yes, my friends, we continue to witness the saving of thousands and thousands of babies being saved from abortion in Texas, thanks to the Supreme Court ruling on June 24 of 2022 which was the feast day of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Whatever happened to the local abortion facilities, their abortion doctors, and staff here in Houston? What happened to their supporters? We hope that the abortion doctors have remained here in Texas as opposed to moving to another state to legally abort babies. Several abortion facilities are now vacant with deteriorating landscapes. The rainbow- colored volunteers that included a cross-dresser at the abortion facility at 4820 San Jacinto Drive were cohesive, seeming to work as a group. May our prayers stir their conscience.
Let us celebrate this day with relief, optimism, and thankfulness for that glorious day a year ago when that decision from the Supreme Court was declared early enough that morning – just in time to save many Texas babies scheduled to be aborted that very morning. Let us celebrate this day ecstatically even though the abortion pill is being used illegally in this state to abort babies. Although pregnant mothers are being referred out of state to abort their baby we have a right to claim victory on this day. Without this day, countless babies would be aborted surgically because of the indirect passiveness of Americans.
There is at least one abortion doctor that we know of who has not closed down her business, Houston Women’s Reproductive Services, but remains open to refer pregnant mothers to another state to abort her child, or to access the abortion pill here in Houston to end the life of her baby. The law does not permit her facility to dispense the chemical, but they do help the pregnant mother to access it through other ways. This abortion doctor has been killing babies here in Houston for several years and has recently moved her facility from near downtown to 13201 NW Freeway, Suite 365. It is near the intersection of hwy 290 and Hollister Rd. Of course, the Planned Parenthood location near Cullen Blvd and I – 45 also provides these same services.
Let us not be dismayed by the recent ruling from the United States Supreme Court this past April regarding the accessibility of the chemical abortion pill related to its FDA approval. Of course, we were devastated by the ruling, however, it may be temporary as we await another from a federal appeals court, known to respect human life. But that ruling might not come until next year or hopefully sooner. Eventually as the decision nears, we will be praying that the pill will not be accessible, particularly by mail, and that FDA approval of it was immature.

El día en que la tierra se detuvo
La idea de que hace un año, hoy el aniversario de la anulación de Roe vs Wade y de que la práctica del ab**to sigue prohibida en Texas, es difícil de creer. Una cosa es lo que experimentamos ese día glorioso cuando cesaron los ab**tos, pero otra, es vivir el aniversario sin que las tácticas de los políticos a favor del ab**to, tratando de eludir la prohibición, hayan tenido ningún éxito. Varios centros están ahora vacíos, con sus jardines y fachadas deteriorados.
