PomPaws Fosters PomPaws Fosters strengthens rescues by building a compassionate foster network, supporting dogs in need, and educating the public. Foster. Donate. Share.

Based in Houston, we’re here to help every paw find their path home. Be part of the mission. PomPaws Fosters is a Houston-based nonprofit committed to supporting local rescue organizations by providing a reliable network of fosters, essential foster resources, and community education. We help network foster animals to reach a wider audience and increase their chances of adoption. Our work reduces the financial strain on rescues, increases foster retention, and creates more positive outcomes for animals through outreach, events, and hands-on support.

Hilary & Peeta have been adopted and on their way to the east coast 🥹💜 feeling absolutely bittersweet. It’s never easy but it’s always worth it 💜💜

Down to 3 foster dogs… should I go pick up a litter of stray puppies? 🙊

PomPaws Fosters is still here💜 We’ve just been a little quieter lately. Still helping where we can! 🫶🏼 Fosters are needed now more than ever! Everyone is drowning in rescue pleas.

It’s days like today where it just feels like it’s never ending & a bit discouraging. Even tho we are overwhelmed, we will keep on trying. And just remind ourselves that no effort is too small when you’re working towards making a difference.

Thank you to everyone who has put in that effort & continues to do so even when it feels like it’s not enough 💜🐾

Pls enjoy this random photodump of some of my current foster dogs 🐶📸

Some dogs get dozens of applications…
& some are still waiting for their very first.

Fiji. Java. Bali. Clyde. Bonnie. Stevie.

No inquiries.
No “is this dog still available?”
No one coming to meet them.

And I can’t make it make sense.

Because each one of them has something special.
The kind of love, personality, and loyalty you don’t forget.

But right now?
They’re being overlooked.

🥺 So here’s what I’m asking:

Take a second.
Swipe through.
Pick the one your heart pulls toward.

Then do one thing:
• Share them
• Tag someone
• Apply to foster
• Or donate to to support their care

Because for them… silence feels like forever.

Let’s change that.
