We had a tremendous day yesterday, and with the outpouring of support from the community we were able to raise funds that will help with equipment, supplies and travel costs for the FFA students at Houston. These costs make possible the skills, leadership and values imparted on our kids under the guidance of our outstanding FFA Advisors Matt Price and Emma Dixson. Matt and Emma pour a huge amount of work into our kids, and their efforts made the plant sale, auction and BBQ happen.

We also need to thank all of the volunteers and students that pitched in and made it come together. This was truly a product of teamwork.

Finally and most of all, thank you to all the community that came out and supported our efforts. From every plant bought, auction purchase and generous donations - they all matter and add up to make our program possible. These small and large contributions pay in multiples when kids apply the skills they’ve learned in FFA, and become community members themselves.
