Calling all dads, grandfathers, stepdads, uncles, and special father figures! Come start the day with your Cornelius Cougar and enjoy a special morning together.

✨🐾 PTO Put Their Hearts Into Every Detail 🐾✨

Our PTO worked hard to create picture-perfect backdrops and special moments to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our Cornelius Cougars 💙

From balloons and banners to marquee numbers and photo areas, every detail was created with love so our students and families could capture memories they’ll treasure for years to come. These are the moments our elementary babies will look back on as they continue growing and moving forward to new chapters ✨📸

A few special shout outs to the amazing volunteers who helped bring the vision to life:

🎈 Thank you balloons.bylala for the beautiful balloon decorations that added excitement and celebration to the day.

🔢 Huge shout out chabellyco for the amazing “2026” marquee numbers that made every photo extra memorable.

🎨 And thank you h_hbynathalie for the custom banner that helped create the perfect backdrop for our Cougar celebrations.

Good evening everyone!

PTO is launching a new campaign. We’re on a mission to create a cleaner and safer space for our teachers, staff and students. We are focusing on restoring 2nd grade outdoor restrooms, repainting kinder/5th grade restrooms, tackling plumbing around the school and more!

Of course none of this will be possible without generous support of sponsors, partners and community supporters.

El PTO está lanzando una nueva campaña. Nuestra misión es crear un espacio más limpio y seguro para nuestros maestros, personal y estudiantes. Estamos enfocados en restaurar los baños exteriores de segundo grado, pintar los baños de kínder y quinto grado, reparar problemas de plomería alrededor de la escuela ¡y mucho más!

Today we celebrate all of the amazing mothers, grandmothers, stepmoms, guardians, and mother figures who pour so much love, strength, and support into our students every single day.

Thank you for the early mornings, late nights, encouragement, sacrifices, and endless love you give so selflessly. Your impact reaches far beyond the home and helps shape our entire school community 💙🐾

❤️🐾 Teacher Appreciation Week continues 🐾 ❤️

Today, our amazing teachers were being treated to homemade pupusas and sweet buñuelos as a small thank-you for all they do for our students each and every day.

A huge THANK YOU to the Quinteros family for lovingly making the pupusas, and to the Perez family for generously sponsoring the buñuelos! 🌟

We are so grateful for families who continue to show up for our teachers and school community. Together, we make Cornelius stronger! ❤️🖤

🌮🐾 Teacher Appreciation Week in Action! 🐾🌮

Today was filled with gratitude, teamwork, and lots of delicious tacos! ❤️🖤

Thanks to the support of our PTO and generous Cornelius parents, we were able to serve over 60 plates of tacos to our amazing teachers and staff! 🙌

From cooking and prepping to serving and cleaning, our volunteers showed up in a big way to make this event special. This is what Cougar community is all about! 🐾

To our teachers — we are so thankful for everything you do. We are truly lucky to have you! 💕
