Charles H. Johnson established the Johnson Funeral Home Scholarship Fund to support the educational aspirations of college bound students – the first one in 1961. After his father’s death in 1980, the fund was renamed FRED C. JOHNSON SCHOLARSHIP FUND, a fitting tribute to his father, an outstanding businessman.

Johnson Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation approved August, 2002, is designed to continue awarding scholarships historically awarded by Johnson Funeral Home.
