Hey Tigers! Wishing you good luck on your finals! Here’s a few tips to keep you ✨focused✨:
1. PRIORITIZE YOUR SLEEP SCHEDULE: Studying for finals usually equals a series of all-nighters. Make sure you’re getting the right amount of rest to avoid dozing off during your exams.
2. STAY HYDRATED & EAT HEALTHY:
Eating food with no fuel is gonna leave you drained on exam day 🥵 Don’t skip out on meals and make sure you’re eating something that’ll boost your energy + help your immune system. Stay hydrated to keep your brain awake!
3. TAKE A BREAK
Yes, you want that A+ and that degree (and you’ll get it) but you gotta pace yourself, bookie. Give yourself grace and TAKE THAT BREAK! Get a lil nap in. Woosaaaah. Spend time with your people. Go for a walk and thennnn come back to it.
4. TALK TO YOURSELF REAL NICE
Negative self-talk loves to slip in when we’re working hard towards a goal. Don’t let YOU stop YOU! You’ve got this. Be your biggest cheerleader. If some negative self-talk comes through, flip it and reverse it with an affirmation!
For example, if you’re thinking “I’m gonna forget everything on this review”, tell yourself “I have all the knowledge and tools I need to pass this test.”
