Christ Rose Foundation purpose is to serve those in need of the essentials, we are starting with the basics by providing a nourishing meal.

We break generational cycles by helping children with incarcerated parents grow in Christ through supportive pathways that nurture resilience and unlock potential. Currently we serve in an area that provide about 250 meals our goal is to be able to consistently provide dinner daily to the community until they are able to be self sufficient. Not everyone we serve is homeless, some people have a ste

ady source of income but are unable to feed themselves and keep the lights on. So our organization want to alleviate the stress of where the next meal is coming from. I'm asking for your support in sharing that Christ love still exist, help us to do great work and share compassion and love with our neighbors. One person can do good but multiple people can truly make a difference in any situation.

“I like coming here, y'all always make sure we eat.”

One of our Emerging Oaks shared those words with us last month with a beautiful smile on her face , and this reminded us that sometimes the smallest acts of love leave the greatest impact.

At Rising Oaks, we believe healthy relationships begin with learning to listen.
Last month, our youth explored communication through escape room-style challenges, business pitches, teamwork, and trust-building activities. Guided by James 1:19 and Proverbs 15:1, they practiced listening before reacting, speaking with kindness, and responding with patience.

These aren't just life skills, they're skills that strengthen families, friendships, and futures.

Every shared meal, every encouraging conversation, and every lesson is another step toward helping children impacted by parental incarceration discover hope, build resilience, and break generational cycles.

Those words came from a young person in Rising Oaks, our Christ-centered youth enrichment program for children impacted by parental incarceration.

Those words are exactly why Rising Oaks exists.

We’re grateful for the new store manager at Walmart Supercenter Houston - S Rice Ave who hit the ground running, stepping in with a heart to serve and a commitment to the community.

It's because of partners like Walmart that Rising Oaks is a place where youth impacted by incarceration can breathe, belong, and begin to see a different future.

Your support strengthens our monthly efforts, creating consistent spaces where youth can gather, build relationships, and grow in confidence, resilience, and hope.

Today, we celebrate another year of Christ Rose Foundation.

More than a milestone, today is a reminder of why we exist to help break generational cycles for children and families impacted by incarceration.

Through Rising Oaks, each month we are creating intentional spaces where youth can grow in identity, resilience, healing, and hope, because no child should have to carry the weight of what they’ve been exposed to alone.

As we celebrate today, we’re also inviting our community to help sustain this work.

At Rising Oaks, we’re helping youth and caregivers build the tools they need to grow emotionally healthy and resilient.
This months session, we were grateful to have a mental health counselor Stephanie Davis join us to lead a meaningful conversation around social-emotional learning, helping our youth to be aware of self. We move beyond only naming emotions like “angry,” “sad,” or “happy” and begin identifying what they are truly feeling, while also learning healthy coping strategies they can carry into everyday life.

What made today especially powerful was hearing one parent share that she needed this too.
She expressed how often she is the one constantly pouring out for others, and how this session “watered” her today.

That is the heart of this work.
Rising Oaks is not only creating space for youth to heal, grow, and build emotional awareness, we are also creating space for caregivers to be seen, supported, and strengthened.
Because when we equip both the child and the caregiver, we help build healthier homes, stronger relationships, and brighter futures.

The 2025 8th Annual Angel Tree Experience was filled with creativity, connection, and joy. From making ornaments and decorating cookies to writing heartfelt cards, children and families had space to simply be kids, laughing, creating, and celebrating together.

We are incredibly grateful for the supporters, partners, and volunteers who made this experience possible. Your generosity created an environment of warmth, dignity, and belonging. Eight years.
Eight opportunities to show children they are seen, loved, and not forgotten.

Our 8th Annual Angel Tree was more than an event; it was a morning filled with joy, generosity, healing, and community. Because of faithful donors, partners, volunteers, and shoppers who stepped in when needs arose, every child received gifts, shared laughter, and experienced a space created just for them.

From ornament-making and cookie-decorating to dancing, fellowship, prayer, and the sharing of the Gospel, this video captures moments that words alone cannot fully express.
