The Story of Bible Study Media

Bible Study Media believes in building up the Church through a fresh discovery of God’s Word and Spirit. We produce resources to shape hearts and minds around the patterns of Christ while strengthening the Christian community. Our Biblical Literacy Project seeks to introduce adults, youth, and children to the transforming power of God’s Word through curriculum built around the three-year Revised Common Lectionary. Our small groups' studies invite participants to journey together through the Scriptures in the rhythms of the Church year. We invite you to explore Bible Study Media—Igniting Hearts and Engaging Minds.

Bible Study Media, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation in the State of Florida founded in May of 2014 by The Reverend Charlie Holt, who was then the rector of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Lake Mary, FL and two Christian laymen with a heart to see a renewal of the Christian faith. The organization was initially begun with a challenge to study the Bible and meditate on God’s Word in a year.

Next, Reverend Holt wrote and published the three small group Bible studies in the Christian Life Trilogy in 2015, called The Crucified Life, The Resurrected Life, and The Spirit-Filled Life, and the organization has been growing ever since. Since the launch of the Christian Life Trilogy over 200 congregations around the world and across denominations have engaged with the materials.

In 2016, Ginny Mooney wrote a children’s curriculum version of the Crucified Life entitled The Cross Walk.
