FLASHBACK FRIDAY! 🖤🔥

Before I ever pressed a T-shirt, THIS was Lake+Prosper!

I started back in 2018 designing handcrafted jewelry using natural stones, unique combinations, and whatever else my creative mind could dream up. Looking at these pictures takes me BACK! 😂

Now listen, I LOVE my apparel customers, NO CAP! But there was a certain intimacy with my jewelry clientele that was unmatched.

I had folks who would literally say, “Kaleb, I trust your vision. Do your thing. TAKE MY MONEY!” 😂 The fact that people believed in my artistry enough to give me complete creative control meant EVERYTHING.

Eight years later, Lake+Prosper has evolved into something I couldn’t have imagined when I started. And while I’m grateful for the journey, I’m highly considering returning to more intentional, one-of-a-kind work.

Not everything has to be mass-produced. Some things deserve to be made with a little more soul.

God gave me the gift. I’m just figuring out how I want to use it in this next season.

Baby, the bag is cute, but what good is having money if the systems around us are still working against us?

We can own the businesses, buy the houses, build the brands, and secure generational wealth, but we cannot buy our way out of being BLACK in America.

And with everything happening in this country, from attacks on DEI and Black history to threats against our civil rights, healthcare, and education, this is NOT the time to be politically disconnected.

While we believe in the power of prosperity, we also believe in the power of political participation.

Because Black prosperity isn’t just about individual success. It’s about thriving Black communities, protected Black children, funded Black schools, and opportunities for generations to come.

The goal was NEVER just to get rich. The goal was to get FREE.

DON’T JUST PROSPER….VOTE. 🗳️✊🏾

The assignment was never to fit in. 🔥 Thomas A. Banks

Our L+P family understood that part perfectly.

Dear God, May I Never Blend In.

Because standing out was always the point.

Prosperity isn’t just about what you build. It’s about obedience.

Build what God told you to build.
Build it how He told you to build it.
And don’t get so comfortable with the vision that you start running it without the One who gave it to you.

The blueprint came from Him. The strategy should too.

Save this. Better yet, send it to yourself. You’re going to need the reminder.
