No passport required for this journey. We're taking Mahj & Mingle to .houston —where Spanish-inspired flavors, creative tapas, wood-fired dishes, beautiful cocktails and an unforgettable atmosphere come together under one very fabulous roof.

And honestly? It feels like the perfect place to gather. MAD Houston and The HUB are no strangers to each other. Since 2022, Ignacio “Nacho” Torras and Chef Luis Roger, have worked with The HUB Houston’s employability program to offer internships at MAD.

So come for the mahjong, stay for the tapas and leave knowing that you are supporting an organization that creates a true sense of belonging for neurodiverse young adults.

Our students in Mrs. Aviles’ Reading Class are diving into Just Mercy and taking their reading to the next level!

They aren’t just reading chapter by chapter—they’re dissecting the material, analyzing key ideas, answering thought-provoking questions, and engaging in meaningful discussions to deepen their understanding of the text.

Each chapter gives our students an opportunity to think critically, make connections, examine different perspectives, and truly understand the message behind the words. 📖🧠

We are so proud to see our students challenging themselves, asking questions, and becoming stronger, more thoughtful readers every day!

Our students are bringing their imaginations to life in Art Class with Mr. Carlos — aka Mr. Los (L-O-S)! ❤️🖤

Mr. Los generously volunteers his time with our students through Performing Arts Houston, guiding them through the process of turning their original artwork into handmade masks. 🎨➡️🎭

This is no small project! It’s detailed, tedious, and takes a LOT of time and patience — but our students are staying focused, putting in the work, and creating something they can truly be proud of.

We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Los for sharing his time, talent, and love of art with our students. We can’t wait to see these one-of-a-kind creations come to life! ❤️
