🧀True to her name, Parmesan is a mellow, easygoing girl whose best asset is her overall sweetness.

💛After being rescued on I-45, Parmesan is just looking for a calm environment where she can finish healing and soak up all the affection she deserves.

🌼Parmesan loves to go on car rides, sun bathe, and being your partner in couch potato time! She would do well in an apartment or townhome as she rarely ever barks and has taken to crate training very quickly. Though will happily accept an invitation to the "Big Bed".

We’ve currently raised $1,240 toward our goal of funding TNR for 50 Houston community cats before our June 20th mass TNR day. Thank you for supporting this lifesaving work. 🧡

✨ WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS DURING TNR? ✨

Here’s the process:
1️⃣ Cats are humanely trapped and transferred to a TNR vet
2️⃣ They receive spay/neuter surgery
3️⃣ They are vaccinated
4️⃣ Their ear is tipped while under anesthesia (the universal sign they’ve already been fixed so they aren’t trapped again!)
5️⃣ They recover safely in their trap
6️⃣ They are returned to the outdoor area they know as home

Community cats are often not socialized enough for indoor homes, which is why TNR is considered the most humane and effective approach.

TNR prevents future litters while allowing cats to continue living safely in familiar territory.

The average cost to TNR one cat is $85–$100, and every dollar raised helps us prepare for our mass TNR day on June 20th!

This June, Animal Justice League is raising funds to Trap, Neuter, and Return 50 community cats in Houston during our large-scale TNR day on June 20th. Helping community cats takes community help- so we’re asking YOU to tap into your network to help AJL.
