The FRESH Project

HELLO, OCTOBER! 💛

A new month means more opportunities to show up, serve, connect, and remind our neighbors that they matter.

From every meal shared to every conversation and every volunteer who chooses to give their time, the little things add up.

We’re stepping into October grateful for this community and excited for what’s ahead.

Here’s to another month of serving with purpose.

Happy October from all of us at FRESH Project! 💛

It’s the third Monday in September, and we’re serving today! 💛

💙 Third Mondays: SEARCH

We will not be serving this Monday. 💛

Monday Meal Ministry runs on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month. We'll see you at our next serving, same heart, same mission.

Stay connected here for updates on where and when we show up next. And register on the POINT app to volunteer with us.

August is here!

And FRESH needs three things to keep Monday Ministries going. Here's how you can help:

1. 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬: Register on the POINT app to serve with us on August Mondays. Every helping hand makes a difference.

2. 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐬: Reach out if you’d like to become a meal or financial partner. Your support helps us keep showing up and serving consistently.

3. 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: If you have grant-writing skills and would like to use them to support FRESH, send us a DM. We’d love to connect with you.

You don’t have to do all three. One is enough. 💛

Thank you for helping us keep Monday Ministries going.

A new month means new opportunities to love our neighbors, serve with compassion, and make a difference together.

Thank you to every volunteer, donor, and supporter who continues to be part of the FRESH Project family. Because of you, hope is shared one meal, one conversation, and one act of kindness at a time.

As we step into August, we're looking forward to serving our community with the same heart and purpose that brings us together every month.

Here's to new beginnings, meaningful moments, and lives touched through kindness.

Happy New Month from all of us at FRESH Project!

Today, FRESH will not be holding an outreach service.

As we continue to adapt our outreach schedule to better meet the evolving needs of our community, our commitment to serving our neighbors remains unchanged.

Thank you to our volunteers, partners, supporters, and everyone who makes this work possible. Your kindness and generosity allow us to continue serving with dignity, compassion, and hope.

We look forward to serving alongside you again at our next scheduled outreach. 💛

Summer in Houston brings long, hot days. ☀️

Every Monday evening, we meet our unhoused neighbors where they are.

Along with a hot meal and a conversation, we provide practical items that can help make another week in the Houston heat a little more manageable.

This month, we're hoping to stock these Summer Essentials:

◾ Cooling Towels
◾ Sunscreen
◾ Sun Hats
◾ Mini Water Bottles
◾ Reusable Aluminum Water Bottles

If you'd like to help, you can shop our Amazon Wishlist through the link in our Instagram bio.

Every item purchased goes directly into the hands of someone we serve during our Monday night outreach in Houston.

Thank you for helping us care for our neighbors with dignity, compassion, and practical support. 💛

Earlier this week, our team was back at SEARCH and New Hope Housing, serving our neighbors with hot meals, meaningful conversations, and care. 💛

This outreach may serve a smaller group than some of our larger distributions, but it creates space for something just as important - building relationships, connecting people with resources, and showing up consistently for our community.

We're grateful to everyone who volunteers, gives, and supports this work. Because of you, we can continue serving with dignity, compassion, and hope.
