Our first Texas Brotherhood Ride was in 2014, when we rode for 19 Line of Duty Deaths throughout Texas. The 2014 Ride was dedicated to the 19 Fallen Heroes of Texas, who died in the line of duty in 2013. The Texas Brotherhood Ride honored those by riding through the state of Louisiana and onto Texas in 9 days, covering over 800 miles

Today we want to take the time to honor the legacy of Hugo Guevara with the Cy Fair Fire Department, who passed away four years ago on this day. Hugo was a mentor for so many that it was said that everyone had learned something from him at some point in their lives. He was incredible strong and fought so hard to be with his family and friends as long as he could. Thank you Hugo for all the great memories. You will never be forgotten!

The Texas Brotherhood Ride extends our deepest condolences to the family of Texas State Trooper Jerry Wayne Adamick Jr. and to his colleagues of the Texas Department of Public Safety

Last night, Trooper Adamick was killed in a devastating crash while responding to a disturbance call in San Jacinto County. His death is a heartbreaking reminder of the sacrifices our law enforcement officers make every day to protect and serve their communities.

Trooper Adamick was a proud 21-year U.S. Army veteran who served multiple tours overseas, and a man who chose to continue serving his community by joining the Texas DPS—graduating from the academy just last year.

We will never forget our first responders who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
