Sometimes, creating change starts with one person simply asking, “What can I do to help?”
That question inspired a youth-led initiative to create and distribute 100 snack kits for 100 children preparing to start a new school year. Each kit is a small reminder to a child that their community sees them, supports them, and wants them to succeed.
The power of community doesn’t always begin with a large organization or a big budget. It can begin with one young person who sees a need and decides to do something about it.
And that spark can spread.
We invite you to think about your own community: Who needs a little extra support? What resources do you have to share? What small act of service could make someone’s day a little easier?
Relief starts with us. Change starts with us. Community starts with us.

Education is a core pillar at Amaanah Services, and we bring that purpose to life through our Guiding Stars scholarship program. Today, we gathered at Nirvana Houston to celebrate this year’s 10 recipients. These students have dreams and goals that are rooted in education and a degree. Every backpack distributed, every student encouraged, and every family supported is the beginning of a much bigger journey.

While community initiatives like the Back to School Drive help students start the school year prepared, it is educational programs that keep the flame of learning alive long after the event is over.

That is why Amaanah Services invests in programs like Guiding Stars, an initiative that empowers individuals from our communities to reach their full potential through education and opportunity.

Through partial scholarships for higher education, vocational training, and certificate programs, Guiding Stars helps participants overcome barriers, pursue their goals, and build brighter futures. More than financial assistance, it is a commitment to growth, resilience, and the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to shine.

A backpack is only the beginning. Thanks to the incredible support of our Volunteers, Amaanah Services was proud to stand alongside our partners at Houston's 19th Annual Back to School Drive.đź“š

Because of initiatives like these, thousands of children gain access to school supplies, backpacks, and essential medical services that many families would otherwise struggle to obtain. For some, these resources are more than supplies, they are the confidence to walk into a classroom prepared, healthy, and ready to learn.

This is more than a campaign. More than a single event. It is a movement that lasts for days, weeks, and months, bringing our community together to ensure every child has the opportunity to begin the school year with dignity, confidence, and security.

Amaanah Services is honored to be a key partner for Houston’s 19th Annual Back to School Drive. We powered the volunteer force and our teams came through! We unboxed all the supplies and filled each of the 5,000 backpacks with school supplies. The essential supplies will help 5,000 students start school with confidence.

The experience that inspired them to dream bigger.💙🏆⚽

As the World Cup 2026 comes to a close this Sunday, we celebrate more than one of the world’s greatest sporting events; we celebrate the young lives it has impacted.

Thanks to an incredible opportunity made possible through The Coca-Cola Company, Amaanah youth were able to contribute behind the scenes while building confidence, teamwork, responsibility, leadership, and professionalism. Every match reminded them that success is built through collaboration, commitment, and showing up for one another.

While the World Cup 2026 may be coming to an end, the lessons, friendships, and inspiration our youth gained are only the beginning of their journey. The final whistle marks the end of the tournament, but the impact of this experience will stay with them for years to come.

A special thank you to The Coca-Cola Company for making this unforgettable opportunity possible and for beautifully documenting the journey. Your photography captured not only the excitement of the event but also the pride, joy, and confidence these young people experienced along the way.

⚽Dreams Become Reality with Amaanah and the World Cup 🙌

What began as a chance to support world-class matches became so much more: a lesson in teamwork, responsibility, leadership, and believing that big dreams are within reach. At Amaanah, our Ball Retriever Initiative in collaboration with the Houston Dynamo and Dash is designed to help young people build confidence, discipline, leadership, and a stronger sense of what is possible for their future. Through mentorship and hands-on experiences, we provide spaces where youth can learn, grow, and feel supported by their community.

This summer, that mission came to life extraordinarily. Our Ball Retrievers had the opportunity to participate in the World Cup 2026 as official Powerade Ball Crew Kids, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at professional sports while developing teamwork, responsibility, and confidence in a high-level environment.

A heartfelt thank-you to Powerade and the amazing team they provided for investing in our youth and making this unforgettable journey possible. Your support opened doors to experiences that inspire confidence, build character, and create pathways for future success.
