7th Cavalry National Citizen Reserve, a Texas Non-Profit Corporation supported by its Participants, is the only nationwide Citizen Reserve. As allowed by law, it operates as a Citizen Reserve, Unorganized Militia, Survival & Defense Group, Historical Battles Reenactment Troup, Neighborhood Watch, or Study and Education Group. State laws vary and the goals of state regiments vary accordingly. 7th C
avalry National Citizen Reserve Officers, Enlisted Personnel and Auxiliary are committed to defending their God-given right to defend themselves, their families, each other, and their communities from every manner of evil and disaster. Unit Commanding Officers of 7th Cavalry Nat.Cit.Res. present themselves to the Sheriff (the highest elected law enforcement officer) to volunteer. The uniforms and insignia of 7th Cavalry Nat. Reserve are the best of any Citizen Reserve and Participants are encouraged to wear their Class A uniforms whenever appearing in public in their official capacity, or their Class B uniforms as appropriate. 7th Cav.Nat.Cit.Res. does not operate as a Political Action Committee but is tasked to the important goal of recruiting, organizing and training Citizen Reserve. 7th Cavalry Nat.Cit.Res. Participants are expected, notwithstanding the restrictions on political action, to be leaders in recruiting, organizing and training the Citizen Reserve and cross-training with other suitable organizations, individuals and groups. 7th Cavalry Nat.Cit.Res. personnel submit themselves to a background check. A Participant is not required to train with arms within a military-type company and state laws vary about conducting field training exercises (FTX) with arms. Participants and Auxiliary not training with arms are encouraged to organize as a Paint Ball or AirSoft group where allowed by law. Participants in 7th Cav.Nat.Cit.Res. equip themselves, in addition to their Class A and Class B uniforms, with Army Combat Uniforms with distinctive 7th Cav.Nat.Cit.Res. patches.
