The Crockett community is saddened by the passing of Solomon Ruth, aka
Coach Ruth, and will remember the time he took to make PE fun and
engaging for our students.

The Crockett PTO is collecting funds for a flower arrangement to be
delivered to his family. If you would like to donate, you can send funds via Zelle to [email protected].

If you would like a sympathy card to be delivered to his memorial service on May 30, you may leave the card at the front desk this week.

Teacher Appreciation Week flew by 💕 We are so incredibly grateful for the generous support from local restaurants, families, and community members who helped make this week so special for our teachers.

HISD teachers have truly been put through the ringer these last few years, and keeping spirits high while district leadership keeps morale low remains a priority for our community. Supporting our teachers matters because when teachers feel appreciated, supported, and valued, that positivity trickles right down to our students.

Thank you to everyone who helped us show our staff just how loved they are 🫶

Yesterday was National School Nurse Day, and we couldn’t let it pass without celebrating our incredible Nurse Albino👩🏽‍⚕️💖

From everyday bumps and bruises, headaches, fevers, and upset tummies… to the critical care our students depend on - medications given right on time, support for asthma and other health needs - she does it all with kindness and grace 🫶🏽

But what truly makes her special is the way she cares for our entire community. She reassures our students and is a steady, calming presence on even the hardest days.

She is more than a school nurse - she is a lifeline for our campus.

Crockett Elementary is healthier, safer, and stronger because of you. Thank you Nurse Albino, for taking such amazing care of our wolves every single day 🐺💙✨

This week, we’re launching our gratitude to the stars for our incredible teachers! 💙

“May the 4th Be With You” MONDAY to a full week of space-themed fun inspired by ARTEMIS II, we’re reminding our teachers that they are truly out of this world. 👩‍🚀✨

Our teachers show up each day with heart, strength, and dedication to our wolves. We are endlessly thankful for the love they pour into our kiddos.

Today is School Lunch Hero Day! 💛

PTO gifted our favorite ladies Dinner & Dishes on us as a small token of our huge appreciation. Thank you to our incredible community for your support as it helps us celebrate our staff on their special days in meaningful ways.

These amazing women serve our kiddos more than just lunch… they deliver smiles, and a sense of calm structure, making sure every child is fed and cared for as quickly (and kindly!) as possible.

We see you. We appreciate you. We’re so grateful for you. 🌟

There are a million things we can say about our Leader but the way she leads us and the way that our .es shows up day-to-day is a true example of what amazing leadership looks like.

Mrs. Bolware, thank you for diving right in to be the Leader of our pack. Thank you for nurturing our students and staff. Thank you for spending as much time loving your Crockett Fam as much as you love your actual fam 🫶🏽 (a big “thank you” to your actual fam for sharing your with us!!).

*From MR TRAN* Hello Crockett Wolves Families! 🐺🥚

We are excited to share that our 2nd–5th grade students will be participating in a schoolwide Egg Drop Challenge from May 11 through June 2! This hands-on project will allow students to explore science, math, and writing as they design and build a structure to protect an egg from breaking when dropped.

To make this experience successful, we are asking for your support. We are currently collecting materials for students to use during the challenge.
