Texas Photo Renovators

Texas Photo Renovators A place to contact photographers/retouchers in your area that have volunteered to save family photos destroyed during Hurricane Harvey.

We launched this initiative after living through the chaos and destruction of Hurricane Harvey. Watching our family, friends, neighbors, colleagues and strangers all come together after Harvey's heavy rains and rising flood waters, we knew we needed to do something to help. As photographers and native Houstonians, we wanted to use our skills to help our city heal. If we can help even one family ho

ld on to a special family photo, especially after their home has been lost to flooding, we can help them hold on to hope. Unfortunately, we will not be able to salvage every photo. However, we vow to try our best and hope to bring some worthy Houston families some hope and happiness as best we can.

Just a reminder, we are about to do a rebranding as Photo Renovators because we want to help everyone not just Texas! Soon we will be Photo Renovators! Still the same good samaritans, just a broader reach and shorter name!

Just a little announcement. We have been having technical difficulties with our web hosting and our website is changing to www.photorenovators.com, the old domain is in auction now and we can't afford repurchasing it.

This is what I've been wanting to do anyways since we don't want to just help Texans, we want to help everyone. Updates to come and we should have the website up and running shortly!

We're not an organization that does what we do for money, but it has come to my attention that some of our invaluable restorers are having difficulty in subscribing to the programs we use.

Adobe Photoshop is one of the best programs out there for what we do and right now it costs $10 a month per person just for photoshop and lightroom. 10 x 61 (number of volunteers) = $610 per month. Adds up quick.

Also it's because of your generous donations that we were able to make the trip to Rockport Texas and help so many people!

This is secondary, since we can and have worked around this, but a copy stand with proper lights would be nice and they run about $200-500.

Anyways, here's a link to our donations page. Every little bit helps!
