We had a blast at Mama Ninfa's Corazón Luncheon: A Legacy of Faith, Love & Learning at The Junior League of Houston on Tuesday, May 26, 2026! 🌹💛

The ballroom was filled with friends, family, and supporters — new and old — all gathered to celebrate the legacy of a woman who taught us that in everything you do, do it with love.

Several of our scholarship recipients were in attendance, and we were so proud to hear from Daniel Garza, a second-year law student who has been a recipient since his freshman year at Texas A&M. His journey is exactly what this fund is all about. 🎓

We were deeply honored to present the Mama's Corazón Award to our beloved Sharon Karam, RSCJ, whose outstanding service to Houston reflects the very heart of Mama Ninfa's mission.

And our featured speaker, Dr. Laura Murillo, left us all inspired and challenged to pursue People, Passion, and Persistence. 🔥

Happy Birthday to Ninfa Laurenzo, a woman whose warmth, hospitality, and passion for bringing people together helped shape generations of memories around the table.

Beginning today at El Tiempo Cantina, we are honored to introduce the Enchiladas Suizas a la Ninfa in celebration of her birthday and legacy.
