Loretta’s sweet power purrs 🔋. out of all our kitties, Loretta is the one who always asks for love. for every adopter that comes over, Loretta is there, asking to be taken home and given all the love. out of all the kitties, she’s the easiest to pet and hold and snuggle with. but she’s always passed over.

she’s nearly a year old, she’s an ADORABLY sweet tabby, and her fur is soft as silk.

she is incredibly
patient, waiting for love, and then she just eats it up.

in the past couple months, we’ve been struggling. several sweet kitties have been returned from adopters. we had a couple surrendered to shelters. some of our fosters have dropped out of our program. we’re heartbroken having to say no to helping everyone in our messages. we just don’t have enough support.

if you’re able to help us with volunteering, fostering, donating, or adopting, that would help us make space to save more kitties 💞

we’re willing to work with people on the adoption fee if needed. we just really want to help the kitties in the worst situations out on the streets, abandoned, sick, and in need of medical care. please help us if you can 🫶🏽

we’ve had sweet Ron and Harry here at Dori’s Darlings for nearly a year, and don’t understand why! they’re a little over a year old, and they absolutely ADORE attention, pets, and playtime.

the very first time i met Ron, he came, sniffed me a bit, and then sat right in my lap. he and Harry are always playing with each other, and Harry will sometimes come and nibble on my shoelaces 😂

these sweet boys are searching for a forever home where they can play and have all the attention they deserve. 💕 they don’t get nearly enough with other foster kitties nearby.

Godiva and Truffles both came to us from a home that couldn’t take care of them anymore. They both had upper respiratory infections and were severely underweight! After some love, food, and care, they’re healthy, happy, and ready for their furrever homes!

Godiva is adventurous, brave, and has the biggest power purr! Truffles is more timid, but extremely sweet and will give you nose kisses 😚

We want give these sweet girls a second chance in a home that’ll love them and care for them forever 🫶🏽

we, like many shelters in houston, have had a huge drop in adoptions lately. we have lots of sweet kitties looking for their forever homes. some have been with us for over 6 years because they’re a little shy, and searching for a home to feel safe in. most of our kitties are already fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and familiar with other cats and dogs so they’ll be comfy anywhere, especially in your arms 🥹🫶🏽

Our sweet Godiva and Truffles are looking for a new home!

They both love to sit on their humans in bed and snuggle 🥰 With their nose kisses and easy nature, they’ll fit right into your home 🏠 Truffles is our Russian Blue mix, and Godiva is our sweet little void kitty 🐈‍⬛

As kittens, they did have upper respiratory infections, so they will need someone experienced who will keep an eye on their health!

We always need help with volunteering, come hold some kitty’s stay & play , help socialize them for adoption . We also need help with transportation to and from clinics , posting on social media platforms to get them more exposure. We are a 501c3 nonprofit and any hours are considered community service hours and we are happy to write letter of recommendation & references for jobs / colleges etc .
