🔹 Libya’s First Upstream Bid Round in 17 Years
H.E. Masoud Suleman, Chairman of ’s National Oil Corporation, and H.E. Dr. Khalifa Rajab Abdulsadek, PhD, Minister of Oil and Gas, kicked off the event as we hosted the first licensing bid round program following the historic announcement. The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA)’s Acting Director, Thomas Hardy, reinforced support for infrastructure projects in emerging markets on behalf of U.S. companies and stakeholders.

Petroleum Commissioner Maggy Shino delivered an inspiring message: "In , anything and everything is possible." A strong signal to investors eyeing the country's energy future with Chevron’s Namibia Country Manager Channa Kurukulasuriya emphasizing Chevron’s own support and commitment.
🔹 Equatorial Guinea’s Renewed Exploration Focus
H.E. Antonio Oburu Ondo, Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mining Development, alongside Gepetrol and Sonagas GE leadership, Bienvenido Nguema Envo and Segismundo Nguema Nsue, respectively, highlighted the renewed focus on exploration and emphasized a long-term commitment to hydrocarbon development in this special roundtable focused on the oil and gas bid round.

H.E. Mamadou Sangafowa-Coulibaly, Minister of Mines, Petroleum, and Energy, showcased the nation's promising energy sector, inviting industry partners to engage in emerging opportunities.

In collaboration with the Atlantic Council, Environmental Defense Fund, and PIMCO, we hosted an exclusive roundtable on finance, shaping guidance that will drive meaningful emissions reductions.
