Access to safe and reliable water is more than a basic need. It is the foundation of healthy, thriving communities. Clean water supports health, education, economic activity, and dignity. As we continue working to improve livelihoods, our focus goes beyond simply providing safe drinking water. We are equally committed to ensuring that water is accessible, reliable, and sustainable for everyday use.

That is why we are incredibly excited to share progress on our mini piped water project in communities around Kasese Trading Centre.

A recent bingo event held by Orant Charities US brought people together for fun, and also ended up doing so much more. With every number called, hope was also growing. By the end of the event, over $56,000 USD had been raised to support Orant Charities Africa’s Education Program. We are so grateful for this support that will help students in rural Malawi stay in school, access learning materials, and keep working toward their dreams.

A few months ago, we held a campaign for Giving Tuesday - a global day of generosity - and now we are here to show you what your gifts are making possible. Thanks to your Giving Tuesday donations, we are currently running a Vitamin A supplementation and Deworming treatment protocol for children under 5 in our catchment area. We are proud of this work which will save many lives and ensure that these children grow up stronger, with a better chance at a long, healthy life.
