Congratulations!

On December 12 East Aldine Management District honored the President of the High Meadows Library Friends with the Chairman’s Award. Judy Rodriguez received it for bringing literacy projects to East Aldine through the Friends of the Library. Judy’s passion for our community through literacy and her support for our wonderful library along with her unabashed embrace of and advocacy for the arts in East Aldine make her a shining example of a resident who leads by doing and caring for all - both young and old. Judy is loved and appreciated tremendously.

Thank you to EAD for recognizing this tireless advocate.

We’ve got ornaments at the library that link directly to our Friends’ Amazon wish list, which has our staff’s most wished-for items! If you’re in a giving mood, we’d greatly appreciate you checking it out! 🎁 (Of course, please feel no obligation to purchase anything - we’re still happy to see you at the library no matter what!)

You can also access the wish list here: https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/owner-view/20EA3CFCM9RVQ?ref_=gr_universal_landing_ggr
