Planning for college or career training in 2027–28? FAFSA is now open.

The 2027–28 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) is available now. Completing the FAFSA can help eligible students access federal financial aid for college, career or vocational programs, trade schools, and graduate school.

Students and families: don’t put it off. Starting early gives you more time to complete the application and stay ahead of applicable financial aid deadlines.

Thank you, Salesforce, for the opportunity for our CIO, John Lindo, and Coastal Director, Timo Brind’Amour, to discuss how the technology ecosystem can help nonprofits work smarter, accelerate , and better serve their communities.

One theme from the conversation was the importance of not building for go-live, but building for what comes next. That means creating a foundation that can continue to evolve as new capabilities, including , reshape how nonprofits operate, engage stakeholders, and scale their impact.

This Labor Day, we celebrate the people whose hard work, talent, and dedication keep our communities moving forward — including the next generation preparing to enter the workforce.

Every day, Genesys Works young professionals are gaining meaningful workplace experience, developing career-ready skills, and showing employers what’s possible when young people are given access to opportunity.

In 2025, Genesys Works served 2,161 students.

Each one represents more than a number. They represent talent, ambition, and potential—and what can happen when young people have access to the right opportunities.

Through skills training, meaningful work experiences, and ongoing support, Genesys Works helps students prepare for what comes next while working alongside employers and community partners to strengthen the future workforce.

What can happen when a young person is given a real opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow?

For Bryan, an internship at TC Energy became the start of something bigger.

He shares how his colleagues treated him as an equal member of the team and took the time to communicate clearly, helping him understand the work and build his skills without expecting him to arrive with previous professional experience.
