During the event, winners of the annual Mahatma Gandhi Week contests for Speech, Poster, i-Tribute/Multimedia and Creative writing are awarded their prizes. While watching these young winners of speech contests deliver their inspiring speeches, it feels reassuring that their future is bright.

Eternal Gandhi Museum Houston has been organizing this event annually since 2006 to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary.
