Tournament #6 is in the books for the Lake Houston Anglers Club and what a grind it turned out to be!

We had 27 teams come out and battle it out on Saturday May 9th, with a total of 100 fish weighed in.

Lake Houston Anglers Club – Tournament Reminder

Friendly reminder to all teams fishing in Saturday’s tournament. Registration will be open from 5:00 AM – 5:40AM. Please plan to arrive on time, as we are expecting several additional teams to sign up in the morning.

Takeoff will be 6:10AM.

We’re looking forward to a great day on the water and some strong competition. Best of luck, and we’ll see everyone Saturday morning! 🎣. Don’t forget your rain gear!

This Saturday we’ll be back on Lake Houston ready for tournament #6 and another competitive day on the water. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone out there and bringing in some solid bags!

We have a captain’s meeting Thursday evening (5/7) at 7:00 PM at Lake Houston Marina.

Don’t forget to bring your money for the LHAC club fishing shirts. We will be taking orders on Thursday and Saturday.

We’re excited to finally roll out the new Lake Houston Anglers Club shirts for this year!

We’ve got a couple different options (long sleeve and hooded), and they’re perfect for those early mornings on the water or long days in the sun.

A few important details:

* All orders are due by June 13th
* Orders will need to be paid in cash and in person
* We will not process any orders without a completed order form
* I’ll be accepting orders and am willing to meet up during the week if needed
* Best option: bring your order form and payment to the Captain’s Meetings before each tournament.

***I will also have order forms at the Captians meetings. ***

As we talked about at the last Captains Meeting, we’re moving forward with getting club fishing shirts made.

Mike Boren with Top Line Branding has stepped up to help us out with LHAC apparel, and we appreciate his support on this.

We’ll be posting the order forms tomorrow with all the details. Orders will open then and run through June 13th.

Please note: All orders must be placed in person. We won’t be accepting electronic payments. You’ll need to fill out the order form and submit payment at the time of ordering.

As many of you saw this past weekend, we experienced an issue with one of our tournament scales going down. To continue running smooth, accurate, and fair weigh-ins, we’re looking to purchase two new, reliable scales for upcoming events.

We’re reaching out to our members to see if anyone would be interested in contributing toward this upgrade. Any support big or small would go a long way in helping the club continue to provide the best possible tournament experience for everyone.

Lake Houston Anglers Club – 2026 Points Standings Update

We’re a few tournaments into the season and the leaderboard is starting to take shape!

2. Jimmy Emmons & Jeff Stanley – 423 pts
3. John Littleton & Adam Boyd – 417 pts
4. Darrell White & Josh Rines – 410 pts

Great job to all teams competing this year. It’s shaping up to be a tight race for the top!
