Are you waiting on God to move a mountain in your life? This Easter, be reminded that God didn’t move the tombstone where Jesus was buried so His son could exit the grave. He moved it to show us that Jesus was no longer in the grave. In your life, instead of staring at a boulder that you believe is keeping you from your future, could it be the boulder is not a problem? God cannot be stopped by what human eyes view as a boulder. What we must seek is the bigger picture of what God is doing on earth because His kingdom is coming to earth whether we’re ready or not.

This Easter, I refuse to stay in the artificial confines of a tomb. I embrace God’s mission and the power of our risen Christ to fulfill my purpose on earth. I hear a victory song and I am celebrating as the music gets louder and is rising to a crescendo. And on Easter day, we fly!!

Chosen by God on Christmas

I remember the Christmas when my mother was no longer with us. The person who I was on a journey with to our promise land was gone. I cannot even put into words the lostness I felt at that age of 17. But when I look back over the years my heart rejoices over how God intercepted my life from crashing to soaring.

Christmas reminds me that in spite of the mess we made and the flawed logic and bad decisions, God came for us.

I pray today that you will celebrate the truth that God chose you. He came to fight for you and for me.

When we don’t know the plan, we can make God our plan. We can make choices that are aligned with His values and priorities. When God is our plan, no human or event can thwart what God is doing. He has landed. His kingdom is not leaving. He came to finish securing our eternal future.

When we have eternity, every other relationship and event pale by comparison.

So let’s make Christmas the big deal relationship and event in our lives.
Let’s truly celebrate winning big with receiving the grandest gift that keeps on giving!

Today I exchange every elusive longing in my heart for the complete fulfillment of having a seat at God’s table. Today I embrace belonging to God and His eternal purpose!
