Chosen by God on Christmas

I remember the Christmas when my mother was no longer with us. The person who I was on a journey with to our promise land was gone. I cannot even put into words the lostness I felt at that age of 17. But when I look back over the years my heart rejoices over how God intercepted my life from crashing to soaring.

Christmas reminds me that in spite of the mess we made and the flawed logic and bad decisions, God came for us.

I pray today that you will celebrate the truth that God chose you. He came to fight for you and for me.

When we don’t know the plan, we can make God our plan. We can make choices that are aligned with His values and priorities. When God is our plan, no human or event can thwart what God is doing. He has landed. His kingdom is not leaving. He came to finish securing our eternal future.

When we have eternity, every other relationship and event pale by comparison.

So let’s make Christmas the big deal relationship and event in our lives.
Let’s truly celebrate winning big with receiving the grandest gift that keeps on giving!

Today I exchange every elusive longing in my heart for the complete fulfillment of having a seat at God’s table. Today I embrace belonging to God and His eternal purpose!

Team Inspire Women,
Here's a list of what not to do when you're running to win as a champion:
1. Do not react. Learn to respond.
2. Prioritize your responses. Only give priority to details that keep you from winning. Ignore the rest. We control what we respond to.
3. Project forward meaning every response triggers someone else's response. If you're dealing with volatile unpredictable people in your life, neutralize the situation by not responding. At least, not yet and not now.

Now, here's what to do:
1. Become who God set you apart to be. You now represent a mission bigger than yourself. When we win, the students win. We are mobilizing a spiritual army for God. So take your mission seriously. Souls for eternity are counting on us to stay focused.
2. Run hard, run fast, purge any negativity that drains your emotions. We're in this to win.

Let's surpass all previous years and get the prize for Jesus. But don't focus on the number. Focus on your obedience and total abandonment in service every second of the day till we finish producing our 25th luncheon on Nov 7!! We have already succeeded because of the way we serve and God will give us the number!! I am sure of it!!

Go for it in Jesus' name!

Our millennial leaders on staff at Inspire Women invited Mattress Mac to our ministry’s 25th Anniversary Awards Luncheon. They brought Freedom, our registered therapy dog with them. Mattress Mac said, “I am very proud of your work in the city. I’ll definitely try to be there!” We thank God for leaders who change our world with His mercy!!
