The Goody Girls Cooking Team would like to remind our donors and guests that passes to our tent for the February 26–28, 2026 Cook-Off may not be resold.
As a 501(c) organization, the Goody Girls Cooking Team operates under established team values centered on integrity and stewardship. Sponsorships are charitable, tax-exempt donations made to support our mission. Profiting from—or attempting to recoup the cost of those donations—is inconsistent with our core values that have been in place since our inception in 1978.
Sponsors found to be in violation of this do not align with our team standards or values and will not be permitted to sponsor the Goody Girls in the future.
Our goal is to compete, have fun, and host the sponsors who genuinely support our cause. In the spirit of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, our “why” is the children we help each year—not profit.
We appreciate the continued support of our community, sponsors, and guests who share that purpose and look forward to having fun hosting you for another fun cook off later this week
