Will you help us with our Miracle of the Maize Mill Campaign? With this Maize Mill, Covenant Children’s Home will be able to process their own maize, millet, soya and cassava, all grown on their property. This will greatly reduce their food costs! They will also be able to process crops for others, creating a revenue stream - and will teach some of the orphans skills for future employment. Will you help us with prayer and support to reach the remaining $42,795? See my previous post about a night of comedy fundraiser. Also visit our website, godsheartforuganda.org or message me for tax deductible ways to give. No one on our board receives any compensation, so 100% of your gift goes directly towards the project. Thank you!

These are Ugandan orphans. Because God’s Word tells us that we must care for them, just over two years ago (at a time in their lives when they should be sitting on the porch sipping lemonade) Don and Debi Bergstrom, compelled by the Holy Spirit, created God’s Heart for Uganda (godsheartforuganda.org). We cannot do this without your support. To help with a tax deductible gift, please visit our website. Thank you.

There is something really meaningful about building something that will serve for years to come. 🌾

We are working to fund a maize mill for Covenant Children’s Home in Jinja, Uganda. There is $53,000 still needed to bring this project to life.

This mill will help provide consistent daily nourishment, reduce ongoing expenses, and create greater stability for the children and caregivers. It’s a step toward sustainability and toward strengthening the home in a lasting way.

If you feel led to be part of this, we would be deeply grateful. Every contribution, big or small, moves this vision forward and makes a real difference.

Thank you for caring about these children. Thank you for helping us build something that will continue to provide long into the future.

Just over 30 months ago, when another ministry pulled out of Uganda, the Holy Spirit prompted Don and Debi Bergstrom to create God’s Heart for Uganda, a 501c3 dedicated to making a difference for approximately 200 orphans and their caregivers. It’s been amazing to see God work through our board of directors, our prayer partners, and our financial partners. Thank you! If you are looking and willing to invest in something eternal, something that is close to God’s heart, visit godsheartforuganda.org. It really does matter.
