COMMUNITY…MEALS…NACOGDOCHES…always fun when these three words go together😀!!! One of the best ways Houston Haven is able to provide community for our guests is our meal providers who bring a weekly meal! And recently, when Annette Coffman Bishop brought a meal to one of our families, we were able to bring people from Nacogdoches together. Lots of fun!

If you would like to join one of the meal teams at one of our houses, drop us a message. You can either cook or pick up, but the main ingredient you’ll be providing, for our families is a smiling face, an encouraging word, and a little bit of community away from home!!!

Thanks so much to all of you that are already on a meal team!!!!

It will be a great time with Houston Haven families from the neighborhood and from all over Houston and also a great chance to see what one of our partners (Weekley Family YMCA ) has to offer for our Houston Haven, families and families in the neighborhood! It’s also a chance to hear more about your kids running for Houston Haven in the 5K that is part of the Chevron Houston Marathon weekend.

The 1K Race is FREE … along with all the fellowship and fun! Hope to see you there with your running shoes on and laced up👍👍👍!!!

It is always fun to have a THANKFUL THURSDAY post two weeks in a row! We got to meet with the Cy Fair volleyball team, Cy-Fair High School Volleyball last week as we have a new partnership with them. It was great to meet the coaches and players and thank them. We will let you know when the pink out game is this year. We are so thankful to them and Memorial HS Volleyball for the support they give Houston Haven!!!
