Gabriel's Horn Foundation

Gabriel's Horn Foundation For those wondering what Gabriel's Horn is all about. Here is the scoop. As Gabriel has gotten older, now 19…our mission has evolved. Or just ask.

We are on a mission 2 create life enhancing job opportunities for differently abled adults by serving as a bridge between companies seeking to employee people from our community and those seeking meaningful employment. We are proud to announce the relaunch of Gabriel's Horn and our renewed focus on positively impacting the lives of those we serve by providing access and tools for success in partne

rship with interested employers. Our foundation started nearly 12 years ago inspired by our at the time 7 yr old son Gabriel. We’ve seen Gabriel grow and be inspired by the challenges and opportunities of employment. We realized that Gabriel and those like him are seeking the rewards of working just like everyone else. We also realized that there are hundreds of companies who would love to make a commitment to employing differently abled people, but they don’t know where to start. Our mission is to not only to create connections between employers and potential employees but also develop
tools and curriculums that empower employers to create a safe and welcoming inclusive environment that sets everyone up for success. Through actions, advocacy and awareness we will strive to ensure that people in our community have access to the right information, services, and opportunities necessary to successfully enter and remain in work force. Stay tuned for more info on how you can help!

Today is World Autism Awareness Day.

A day that exists to remind the world that neurodiverse individuals bring extraordinary gifts, perspectives, and contributions that deserve to be recognized, celebrated, and supported. Every single day.

For our foundation, this day in many ways embodies everything we do.

Our mission has always been about creating real opportunities for neurodiverse adults — in the workforce, in the community, and now, in the gallery.

This month we’re taking that mission somewhere new.

On April 30th, we’re presenting Strokes of Brilliance at Bisong Art Gallery in Houston — an evening celebrating neurodiverse artists and the work they create. More details coming all month long. 💙💙

Today is the first day of Autism Acceptance Month.

For us, that’s not just a date on the calendar. It’s a reminder of why Gabriel’s Horn Foundation exists — to create real opportunities for neurodiverse adults. In the workforce. In the community. And now, in the gallery.

On April 30th, we’re presenting Strokes of Brilliance at Bisong Art Gallery in Houston — an evening where neurodiverse artists put their work on display, in front of family, friends, and collectors, and get paid for it. Live music from Gabriel’s band the HUBCAPS. Silent auction. Real art. Real artists. For a great cause.

A portion of every dollar raised goes directly back to the artists. The rest supports arts programming at HUB Houston, where so many artists continue to grow and create every day.

This is year one of something we’re building to last. And we are so excited to share it with you.

Come through if you’re in Houston. Join us virtually if you’re not.
