Braille Fun Facts:
Louis Braille the inventor of braille was born in France in 1809,

His first book about braille was published in 1829.

Braille takes up more space than the traditional alphabet, so braille books are larger than their print counterparts.

Some fast braille readers can whip through a book at a speed of 400 words per minute!
