Join AIA Houston Emerging Professionals for an upcoming virtual information session on Wednesday, June 3 at 5:00 PM via Zoom to learn more about the 2026–2027 CKLDP class, application process, program structure, and leadership development opportunities available through the year-long program.

The Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program brings together a competitively selected class of emerging professionals for nine half-day sessions focused on entrepreneurship, firm management, negotiation, client development, community leadership, and the future of architectural practice.

Hands-on masonry repair demonstrations and preservation-focused learning at this week’s Historic Resources Committee workshop!

This week’s Historic Resources Committee Masonry Repair Workshop explored masonry wall systems, repair methods, and performance expectations across both historic and contemporary construction types. Led by SGH and Restoration Services, Inc., attendees participated in presentations and interactive demonstrations covering repointing, patching repairs, structural anchors, and restoration techniques.

Congratulations to the students recognized at the 2026 Latinos in Architecture (LiA) MaS Mentorship & Scholarship Awards Ceremony 👏

This year, LiA awarded $38,250 in scholarships in support of the next generation of Latino architects and design professionals from University of Houston - College of Architecture & Design and Rice School of Architecture The evening celebrated the achievements, dedication, and potential of students, while highlighting the importance of mentorship and community within the profession.
