What a night. 🎭✨

Our Olami Houston Young Professionals Purim Party at Eberhard Social House was absolutely incredible. From the energy on the dance floor to the Megillah reading and amazing costumes, it was a beautiful celebration of Purim together with our growing Jewish young professionals community.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and helped create such an amazing atmosphere. This community is something truly special.

✨ After the Lights, the Light Continued ✨

Last week, over 60 Jewish young professionals came together for our After-Light Chanukah Party with Olami Houston at SkyLab Social — and the vibes were 🔥

We celebrated the Festival of Lights with delicious food from Saba’s Grill & Wok, fresh donuts from Harova, an on-site bar, and nonstop energy throughout the night.

Together we lit the menorah, shared words of inspiration with Rabbi Johnny Ouzzan, and enjoyed everything the venue had to offer — pickleball 🏓, basketball 🏀, darts 🎯, and pong 🍻.

Most importantly, the night brought together a diverse, vibrant group of Jewish young adults looking to celebrate Chanukah together — with light, joy, and community.

More light. More unity. More moments like this. ✡️✨

Last night was another incredible Guys Night: Learning & Grilling with Olami Houston.
Our young professionals were paired with mentors from the Fondren community for an hour of Torah learning — diving into Judaism’s perspective on fame, honor, and what truly matters.

Huge shoutout to Rabbi for spearheading the night, organizing the learning, and creating the source sheets that brought the conversations to life. And a big thank-you to Yehuda Averick for treating us to perfectly smoked brisket and ribs — absolute magic.

We wrapped up in Rabbi ‘s backyard with smoked wings, brisket, hot dogs, ho**ah, ci**rs, drinks, great music, and even better company.

Grateful for a community that learns together, grows together, and knows how to enjoy a great night. 🔥🤝💬

Incredible night of learning and connection at Four Leaf Towers!
We explored the fascinating halachic and ethical questions surrounding conjoined twins, sparking deep discussion and reflection.
Of course, no Olami Houston event is complete without amazing food — thanks to for the delicious dinner! 😋

✨ Olami YP Denver Shabbaton 2025 Recap! ✨

What an unforgettable weekend in the Rockies! 🌄 Jewish young professionals from Olami branches across Chicago, Houston, St. Louis, LA, NY, and Denver came together for an incredible Shabbaton of connection, inspiration, and adventure.

We kicked off Friday morning at The Jewish Experience with uplifting words from Rabbi Gidon Shoshan (Olami National) before heading out on a party bus to explore Colorado’s breathtaking beauty — from a scenic railroad ride to Silver Plume 🚂 to stunning views and Torah at Red Rocks Amphitheater 🎶 with Rabbi Garfinkel (Olami 613).

As Shabbat began, we celebrated with a musical Kabbalat Shabbat at Aish Kodesh, a delicious catered dinner, and a lively Oneg Shabbat full of song and new friendships.

Shabbat day brought meaningful tefillah and learning options, warm home-hosted lunches, and an inspiring panel of individuals who’ve overcome life’s challenges — including kidney and stem cell donors who truly embody chesed and courage. 💪💙

We ended on a high note with a musical Havdalah and an epic night out at the Jewish-owned Haykin Family Cider Bar 🍎✨

All in all — it was a weekend of friendship, unity, and Jewish pride, reminding us just how powerful it is when Olami branches come together for shared, transformative experiences.

SUKKAH NIGHT LIVE 🎉🌿
What a night to remember! Around 130 Jewish young professionals from Olami Houston, YJP Houston, and YAD came together for an unforgettable evening of laughter, food, and community under the stars.

🍹 Drinks Bar

The vibes were immaculate, the laughs were nonstop, and the sense of community was off the charts 🙌

J-HYPE was founded in 2019 with the goal of connecting Houston’s Jewish Young Professionals community together and providing a space and platform for inclusivity, leadership, Jewish learning, and growth. We feel that our heritage is rich with wisdom that can positively impact our lives and our relationships. Everyone is welcome at J-HYPE, regardless of background, affiliation or denomination in Judaism. If you like being around other young Jews, and are looking to learn and grow, you’ll feel right at home with us! Our model capitalizes on the camaraderie created on trips, the warmth of the Shabbat table, and the invigorating interactive Jewish discussions among peers.
