This week's Moment of Truth: Matthew 7:24-27 (NIV) — "Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock, and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand, the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it."

The rain will fall. The floods will come. The winds will blow. That is not a maybe — that is a promise. The only question is what your house is built on.

If your hope is in politics, you are placing it in men. Men who were wrong yesterday and will be wrong again tomorrow. Men whose schemes created the problems they now promise to fix.

But if your hope is in God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the unchanging truth of the Bible — then politics becomes what it was always meant to be: a necessary human undertaking, not the foundation of your life.

Politics is downstream of culture. Culture is downstream of faith. And biblical faith — rooted in the unchanging truth of God's word — is the foundation on which everything else must be built. So what is yours built on?

Fatherhood is not proven in grand moments.
It is proven in daily consistency.

Showing up. Listening. Correcting with wisdom. Leading with humility.

A man who leads his home with the Truth shapes generations he may never meet.

The only behavior you control is your own.

The world gives you plenty of reasons to be angry. Scripture gives you a different instruction—take the plank out of your own eye first.

That is Matthew 7. And it is not a suggestion.

This week on the show, host Colonel Richard J. Mendelow and guest Pastor Steve Dennis bring one of the most downloaded conversations of the year back to the airwaves. Anger, integrity, and what it actually looks like to be a Christian in a world that is working hard to provoke you into being anything but.

Before you can be the man God is calling you to be—as a Christian, a husband, a father—you have to be honest about what is actually driving your thoughts, your words, and your reactions.

Is it Scripture? Or is it the world?

Make time for a conversation that will make you ask the hard questions about the man you see in the mirror.

Hear the show on CourageousChristianity.today, on KKHT.com, iHeart Radio, or on select podcast platforms.

Faith is not only something we believe.
It is something we live out daily—in the way we think, lead, respond, and stand firm in the Truth.

At Courageous Christianity, we are committed to equipping men and families to live with clarity, conviction, courage, and a Biblical foundation in a world that often pulls people away from it.

Your support helps us continue to:

• Produce Biblical teaching and practical resources
• Expand radio, podcast, and digital outreach
• Encourage stronger leadership in families, churches, and communities
• Speak the Truth clearly in today’s culture

If you believe in this mission, we invite you to stand with us.

Work is not just provision.
It is formation.

God uses responsibility to shape character and refine conviction.

A man committed to the Truth honors God in both public success and private effort.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters” – Colossians 3:23 (NIV)
