Jeffery Ingram Memorial Foundation

Jeffery Ingram Memorial Foundation JRI was created in 2006 after the passing of Jeff Ingram. Most recently we're tackling the drug epidemic within Magnolia & MOCO. Jeff was an addict

Our #1 goal was to keep his spirit alive and we chose to give back into MISD for Seniors to attend college. This scholarship was created in hopes of using Jeff's name for good. We as a foundation award yearly scholarships to Magnolia ISD students who apply & qualify. Please contact your school counselor for more information.

Twenty years. 240 months. 1,043 weeks. 7,305 days. 631,152,000 seconds.

Every one of those seconds has been heavy with the weight of a life cut short. When Jeff died from the choices he made while battling addiction, our world stopped being the same. For twenty years, we have lived in the "after," haunted by the same questions that never go away ... what truly happened that night? The details that remain out of reach, and the moments we can't go back and change live in the minds of everyone who loved him. We live with the quiet faith that one day we will get our answers, whether they finally surface here on earth or are revealed when we are joyfully reunited in heaven. But we know this - Jeff was so much more than his addiction. He was a son, a brother, friend and a soul whose light could never be dimmed by his struggles. We hold this tournament not just to mourn, but to protect. Every dollar raised helps the Jeffery Ingram Memorial Foundation combat the stranglehold drugs seem to have on our youth today. We play so that other families in Magnolia don't have to count the seconds of a life lost.

We would be deeply honored if you joined us for the 20th Annual Jeffery Ingram Memorial Golf Tournament. Help us turn our "what ifs" into a lifeline for the next generation.

Today marks nineteen years since we lost Jeff. You feel this date approaching in your bones — the air shifts, the sun begins to fade sooner and time itself seems to pause. There’s a dread, and a deep longing to change those 48hrs.

By 2006, anyone who loved Jeff knew he had struggled with addiction. What began as innocent experimentation grew into something that, for once in his young life, he couldn’t conquer. The thing about addiction is that you can’t always see the wolves, even within yourself. You can’t always recognize the signs. For Jeff, everything began to blur.

Jeff’s death was a revelation for many of us — a catalyst for change. It forced some to look inward, to ask for help, and to begin their own healing. Out of that pain came purpose. His death solidified a foundation within ourselves that would grow into one of the largest 501c3 organizations in Montgomery County — and certainly in Magnolia, TX.

But we’d trade it all for a healthy Jeff. In our quiet, late-night reflections with each other, we know that would have been an uphill battle. Addiction doesn’t just take the user — it takes from the family too. It alters the course of every life it touches, leaving its mark on every decision, every mistake, and every memory that no longer includes the one we lost.

If you're reading this, and you're struggling with addiction, or enabling an addict, we implore you ask for help. It's not a weakness, it's a gift you still have - to give yourself. You are loved, and you're stronger than you think.
...for nothing loved is ever lost

Thank you Magnolia Soap and Bath Magnolia, TX for being a big collaborator with us this year. From inviting us to participate in the Hope For Soap campaign in September, to providing our table gifts, donating a soap making party & being a sponsor.

If anyone runs out of soap, or you'd like to have our JRI signature scent in their other products, all you need to do is go to the store and tell the ladies what you want. They'll do all the rest 🫧🛀🏼🫧
