We have earned our Platinum Seal of Transparency for 2026 from Candid! Those of you involved in fundraising know how important it is for a nonprofit to be visible on Candid. This allows Foundations to have a higher level of trust in our organization, and we are happy to announce we have earned the very highest level for 2026. What a great way to kick off our 25th Anniversary!

Our 13th Annual Golf Classic benefiting CKC is coming up October 13th, which just happens to be our co-founder, Kim Nash's 65th birthday 🎂 Come and help us celebrate, have a great time on the course, all while jump starting our fundraising for Camp 2026 to bring a life-changing experience to more children. If you're not a big golfer yourself, you can always give a donation of any size, or come out just for the dinner at 5 pm.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our "spiritual Mama," Dodie Osteen. She, along with John Osteen, were an incredible influence in our life for the past 40 years. She passed peacefully at home of natural causes at 91 years old. We are thankful for every day and every year that we got to have her in our lives. She was also a faithful supporter of CKC, and never failed to come to our events whenever we called on her. We love you and will miss you Mama Dodie. We know you're up there with John right now having a true celebration. As Brother John loved to say, "Great it is to dream the dream when you stand in youth by the starry stream, but a greater thing to fight life through, and say at the end, the dream is true!"
