Village Habitat For Humanity is hosting their 2nd annual 'Movie and Dinner Night' on May 8! All proceeds will go to Nepal Habitat, to help with reconstruction after the devastating earthquake.

Tickets are being sold during both lunches from May 29 through May 6.

Hope everyone is enjoying their day off. A while back in assembly, we announced a competition we are having to name our Komodo Dragon. Winner receives two tickets to the Houston Zoo, including meals for both.

Here are the rules:
1. Make a Superhero-esque poster, digital or physical, naming the dragon
2. Have a photo of the Komodo Dragon
3. Link to our site (thevillageschool.com/newspaper)
4. Include other promotional information about the Villager (be creative)

Save the Date village Students!
Wednesday April 22nd during 5th & 6th lunch, Green club will be hosting a bazaar in celebration of Earth Day! There will be many local vendors selling anything from cupcakes to popsicles. There will also be face painting, games, and prizes -AND- you will also be able to wear GREEN on this day! Hope to see you all there!

thanks to everyone who purchased a cup or helped out with last week's fundraiser! we had tonnes of fun selling them each morning, afternoon, and at the tailgate and homecoming game! if you are interested in buying a cup still please FIND ANY OF THE PEOPLE IN THIS PICTURE! ($10, WE ONLY HAVE A HANDFUL LEFT)

hey yall! we hope that you have heard by now about the fundraiser that will be held this week!! we will be donating a percentage of the proceeds to the Houston Zoo!! please stop by the front of the hs building most mornings and everyday after school this week.

THE CUPS WILL BE $10 AND WE HAVE A LIMITED SUPPLY. THEY WILL BE ALLOWED IN CLASSES SO PLEASE STOP BY!
