**When a community invests in families, everyone benefits. đź’™**

A parent who has access to resources, encouragement, and opportunities can create greater stability at home. And when parents are stronger and more financially stable, their children have greater opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.

Community support can come in many forms—a mentor, a local organization, a volunteer, a donor, or simply someone willing to connect a family with the right resource.

We are grateful for the continued support we receive from organizations like Lily's Toybox, who help us bring moments of joy to the children in the families we serve. Their generosity is a beautiful reminder that supporting families goes beyond financial assistance-it's about investing in the whole family.

When we lift up families, we strengthen the community around them.

For many of the single moms we serve, the idea of "family support" looks very different.

Some don't have parents who can step in when times get tough. Some don't have siblings nearby. Some have spent years carrying the weight of providing for their children largely on their own. That's why community matters.

HandUp gives moms more than financial support. It gives them people who listen, encourage, challenge, and walk alongside them as they work toward self-sufficiency. It gives them community.

Because sometimes a hand up isn't about someone doing it for you.

This Labor Day, we’re celebrating hard work—and the families working toward a brighter future. 💚

Through our HandUp program, parents are building budgets, strengthening financial skills, and taking meaningful steps toward self-sufficiency.

Hard work goes a lot further when you have encouragement and support along the way. Your support helps families turn determination into stability—and gives children the opportunity to grow up in a stronger, more secure home.
