Snap food assistance benefits reduced; Senior benefits drastically cut, Medicaid, Medicare and Healthcare premiums unaffordable for most Americans, leaving the most vulnerable uninsured at third-world country levels; foreclosures at an all-time high, homeless levels terribly high; food/grocery prices cost prohibitive by the most vulnerable; ⛽️ prices out of the roof: 10 thousand US soldiers deployed (15 dead, while 300-500 troops are wounded) -- in a war that our US Congress never authorized.

(... and why are we at war, anyway -- does anyone have a good answer to this question?) By the way, the current maximum age for joining the military was just revised, from 36 to 42.

America is weakening itself financially by staying involved in a war that is costly, hard to win, and politically unsustainable. Military spending on this conflict is out of balance with the nation’s own needs at home, and continuing down this path makes the country poorer without delivering a decisive result.

The worst part: America is getting a $100 billion dollar bill to pay for expenses ALREADY incurred in this war. (...by the way, to what DoD entities/contractors will this $100 billion dollars be paid: this is a KEY question!
