The manual starts out by informing the student what will be needed for organization before starting the search and application process which includes and Applicant’s Information Needed form, a tracking form, a
nd a Things to Do list. Section Two – Applying for Scholarships
This section give tips on how the student can increase their chances in receiving scholarships and it also has 3 pages of websites and a page of books that are available to find scholarships. Section Three – Applying for Grants
This section has the website for the FAFSA that is needed to file for grants including the date that the application can be filed and the timeline of the application process. Section Four – Applying for Loans
This section has information needed when a loan is necessary regarding what can be expected after the grant application is complete and the loan application begins. Section Five – Examples
This last section has examples of every document needed for the entire process which includes a letter to a scholarship provider, a teachers’ recommendation, a neighbor/friends’ recommendation and an academic resume.
