Serve Hope International is 501(c)(3) organization that is led by people who have experienced real transformation in their lives and desire others to have the same opportunity. We mobilize national and international volunteers around the world to help provide for the needs of clean water, sustainable housing, and educational advancement.
Each of our initiatives tare platforms for giving true dignity to each person served, walking alongside them at the pace they can endure, and crossing the finish line with them as they achieve real success for the future:
A school for grades seven through nine that offers an affordable opportunity for students of all ages to continue their education in a computer based local government educational program.
The school meets above the Serve Hope Café, has four local Honduran teachers, and is currently serving over eighty students. Students are presented with opportunities to Biblical learning and encouraged to serve others on Serve Hope’s various impact trips. Internships in the Café are offered annually to select students from this program.
A clean water program focused on coffee picking families. In partnership with The Bucket Ministry, Serve Hope staff and volunteers lead in the distribution of Sawyer water filters to coffee picking families, providing clean drinking water to areas of great need.
This program is carried out in conjunction with local churches and missions as part of community outreach. Funding for these projects come from donations to the Serve Hope International.
This business is the hub of our efforts in urban Siquatepeque. The café is a coffee shop, business incubator, job creator, training ground and relationship starter.
The business provides real life job training and internships and offers barista training twice a year through the local Serve Hope staff.
A variety of community development project in coffee farming regions including home construction, water storage, house repair, and installation of concrete floors, bathrooms, septic systems and small water systems.
All of these projects are carried out by the local church volunteers in the community. Funding for these projects come from donations to Serve Hope International and coffee shops in the “Ten Cents of Change” program with Crimson Cup Coffee.
Mobilized Honduran and international volunteers that assist in the performance of Impact Projects.
Teams serve over four, five, or six day trips in these poor areas. These teams supplement the relationship efforts of the local church and community leaders with guidance from Serve Hope staff and volunteers.
A partnership with Crimson Cup Coffee and the Texas A & M University Agrilife Program, this coffee farm is establishing a training location for small farmers to learn advanced farming techniques and establish better farming practices.
This farm will provide a resource for farmers to establish a more resilient coffee to protect from common fungus. Also, the development of a coffee tourism business will provide resources of teaching the methods of coffee production and a source of income for the model farm project.
Serve Hope provides in country support for an entrepreneurial ministry called Creating Jobs.
Staff and volunteers assist in the identification of needs providing a location and trainers for Creating Jobs’s practical, Bible based entrepreneurial training. Our staff leads and directs the training for Creating Jobs’ Start Book and Grow Book programs once a year at the Serve Hope Cafe.
