Operativo Houston

Operativo Houston Operativo Houston is a new kind of classical music organization made for singers by singers. Does that sound like an art form that suffers from disinterest?

Today, many are concerned how opera is a "dying art form", how opera is suffering from "lack of interest". A quick Facebook inquiry of interest for the possibility of work revealed over 15 opera singers connected to one person within the first 5 minutes of the post. Over 1,000 applicants are recieved for the average young artist program and usually only 20-30 singers are picked from this pool. Operativo is a performance intiative attempting to add more work for the local artist, and Houston is a great area to start.
