Saludos Connection

Saludos Connection Building connections to facilitate access to healthcare, nutrition, and education Venezuela is going through a humanitarian emergency.

Institutions are not functional and the population is suffering from shortages of food, medicine, medical supplies, and resources in general. Our mission is to facilitate access to quality healthcare, nutrition and education to Venezuelan children in vulnerable settings. We have partnered with local organizations in Venezuela. We work with them to provide resources to support their programs and identify and design intervention actions to help improve them. Through these local organizations we are able to impact these populations. We organize events to raise awareness and funds. We collect donations and prepare shipments to distribute in Venezuela. We want to change the lives of Venezuelans.

While there is still time
Right now, as you read this, a rescue team on the La Guaira coast is working by hand in the dark, listening for a voice under the concrete. Whether they reach it in time can come down to something as basic as a generator — light to see by, power for the tools.

Two earthquakes, the strongest in over a century, hit a country already in a decade-long humanitarian emergency. The response didn’t wait for institutions: it came from neighbors, doctors, and young volunteers who organized within hours — many of them people we already know and trust. We’ve been moving funds straight into their hands ever since.

So far, donors have helped us fund more than 20 kits — each a power generator, tools, and a Starlink antenna — now in the hands of teams still pulling people out alive. We’re also adding mini Starlinks so the mobile medical teams can stay connected as they move from site to site. The requests keep coming, and nearly every team says the same thing: more power, now.

The response is also moving into its next phase. With families out in the open and heavy rain, we’re funding shelter — sleeping mats and tents — and supplying relief centers with food and with bins to keep donated supplies dry. Every gift becomes something specific on the ground: the next generator running, the next signal back up, a dry place to sleep for a family with nowhere to go.

When you give to Saludos Connection, we move your gift fast, into their hands, and we tell you where it went.

Please give today — and send this to one person who would want to help. In an emergency, the most powerful thing you can do is also the simplest: fund the people already on their way.

🚨 *Venezuela needs your help: rescuers are still pulling people out alive — and they need power!*

🔌 A generator keeps each rescue point running: the tools, the night lights, and the Starlinks that help us find people all depend on it.

Your gifts already funded *14 kits* powering the search — thank you! — and now we need to get them more!

🙏 Every gift = the next life reached.

Your donations literally save lives 🇻🇪🙏🏼

On June 24th, 2026, massive double earthquakes added more tragedy to the already Complex Humanitarian Emergency in Venezuela, stretching for the past 10 years.

Our mission started in response to the emergency, and now has been intensified to assist in the response to this new disaster.

Reaching the neighbors who cannot wait — beginning with Venezuela’s older adults who are alone, whose family has left the country and who are extremely vulnerable today.

An invitation. Relief multiplies when it is shared. A gift today — reaches an elder who is alone and waiting right now.

Give. Match. Tell someone. That is how a greeting “Saludos” becomes a hand held in Caracas.
