Big weekend last weekend at our annual meeting and cleanup day , we enjoyed good food ,good weather and a business meeting , oh and a broken waterline , but we got that taken care of too , if you haven’t paid your yearly dues they are due now $10 per plot , this is what we use to keep up your eternal resting place looking nice .

SATURDAY – APRIL 11, 2026 *** RAIN or SHINE

CEMETERY CLEAN-UP – 10:00 a.m. *** Remove old decorations; trim trees/bushes; clean headstones; fill/level graves.

COVERED DISH LUNCHEON – 12:00 p.m. *** Bring your favorites to share with our Mt. Tabor Family.

ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING – 1:00 p.m.

The Constitution requires a permanent headstone/marker for all graves. Several graves do not have permanent markers/headstones.

Annual Membership Dues - $10.00 per gravesite - Donations are Tax Deductible Please help with the costs of maintaining our loved one’s final resting place.

I have seen two of these pop up at our Cemetary , these are not permanent markers , they are on a very flimsy sheet metal frame and will be damaged by a lawnmower or w**d eater. These are no longer permitted in North Mt Tabor Cemetery, we require a moment of stone that will be there for eternity, and these will only last until bumped and damaged .

Cemetary mapping has begun , we are working towards having a posted map of the entire Cemetary , remember your dues and donations are what keeps our Cemetary beautiful and up kept and allows these capital improvements to happen . Dues were due now and can be sent to

Due to the excessive rain fall we are receiving this morning . The potluck dinner will be canceled but we will have the business meeting at 1 o’clock. She will have the church open by approximately 12:30 for the 1pm meeting

Cemetery looks fantastic all of the fence panels that were purchased have their name plaques on them. If you missed out purchasing one for your family we still have some fence panels that were not purchased. We will still take a donation towards them, each panel donation is $550. Don’t forget our meeting is this Saturday, cleanup starts at 10 AM meeting to follow,rain or shine. Torres lawn service has offered his service to level headstones for $100 each stone . To take advantage of this service, we need a picture of the headstone and approximately where it’s at (location) and a check or cash for $100 made out to Torres Lawn Service .

Fence project is completed. I’d like to thank Commercial Fence Company in Madisonville, Texas. It looks fabulous. I would also like to thank everyone who donated towards this project, It would not have been possible without the generous donations of everyone who gave, I hope to have the donation name plates completed by our April 5th annual meeting so we can put them up where the donors would like them placed. Thanks again from your cemetery board

Fence project is moving forward , old fence has been removed and new fence is here , project should be completed by annual cleanup and business meeting that has been set for April 5th . Reminder cards will go out this week .

Signed the contract on the highway fence project today , this project should be completed by our next clean up day . Check back for photos
