Happening in Houston...
There is a high likelihood the adult arrested was/is trafficked as well. Often one being trafficked is groomed to help with additional victims.

A minor is back with family and a woman has been arrested after north Harris County officials say they uncovered a possible human trafficking operation.

Today is Su***de Prevention Day — and prevention doesn't start in a crisis. It starts with preventing the trauma that may put survivors at risk.

42% of human trafficking survivors have attempted su***de at least once (APA Monitor, 2025), compared to 2.4–5.3% of the general population over a lifetime.

That's why prevention education, awareness, and early intervention aren't just anti-trafficking work — they're su***de prevention. Young people and communities who recognize harm early can step in before a crisis takes hold.

At Our Rescue, human trafficking prevention is su***de prevention. ***dePreventionDay
