In New Jersey, students with special needs are learning 3D printing--and also learning about charity and giving. Special needs students from one district are donating the face shields made with their school's 3D printers to a local hospital.
Special needs kids can learn from enrichment in the school and in the community!
"We can’t look at disabilities. We have to look at abilities. We’re giving kids skills, opportunities and when you put skills and opportunities together, the potential is unlimited,” Dr. Michael Kuchar, the district superintendent, said.
Students from the South Bergen Jointure Commission donated a shipment of face shields to Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck.
