There will be seasons when you cannot see what God is doing.

The prayers may feel unanswered. The progress may feel slow. The road ahead may still be unclear. But faith was never about having every answer. It is about trusting the One who does.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

Keep showing up. Keep trusting. Keep taking the next faithful step in front of you. God is still at work, even when you cannot see it yet.

September 11, 2001 is a date forever etched into the heart of our nation.

We remember the innocent lives that were taken without warning. We remember the families whose worlds changed in an instant. We remember the first responders who ran toward unimaginable danger while others were trying to escape. We remember the service members who would answer the call in the years that followed, carrying the weight of that day into places far from home.
For so many, September 11 was not simply a moment in history. It became a dividing line between life before and life after.

And even now, years later, the sacrifice remains. The empty seats at family tables remain. The memories remain. The courage remains.

Today, we honor those we lost, those who served, those who sacrificed, and those who still carry the lasting impact of that day.

May we never become so far removed from September 11 that we forget what it cost. May we remember the unity that followed, the courage that rose in the face of evil, and the countless ordinary Americans who chose to serve something greater than themselves.

We remember.
We honor.
And we will never forget.

Vulnerability can be uncomfortable, especially when you’ve spent years learning how to keep moving, stay strong, and keep the hard things to yourself.

But healing often begins when we stop pretending everything is fine and allow ourselves to be truly known.

At Mighty Oaks, no one is expected to have all the right words or open up on day one. Sometimes it takes time. What matters is being willing to take that step when you’re ready.

There is freedom in honesty, strength in vulnerability, and incredible value in realizing you don’t have to carry everything alone.

Throughout August, we had the privilege of watching God move in powerful ways across Mighty Oaks programs.

75 participants recommitted their lives to Christ, 29 made the decision to follow Him for the very first time, and 8 were baptized.

That’s 104 lives marked by a renewed or brand-new commitment to Jesus.

But these are so much more than numbers. They represent men and women choosing a new foundation, a new direction, and a life rooted in Christ.

We are grateful for every participant who walked through our doors, every staff member who faithfully poured into them, and most of all, for the work God continues to do through Mighty Oaks.

This is why we do what we do.

We're honored to welcome Jeff Struecker as our keynote speaker. A highly decorated U.S. Army Ranger, Jeff served more than 20 years in elite special operations, including combat deployments to Somalia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. His actions during the Battle of Mogadishu inspired the story portrayed in *Black Hawk Down*, and his courage and leadership earned him induction into the Army Ranger Hall of Fame.

Together, Jeff, Chad, and Jeremy will help make this year's Gala an unforgettable evening of inspiration, fellowship, and purpose.

Faithfulness is not always loud or visible.

More often, it looks like showing up, keeping your word, making the call, choosing patience, opening your Bible, apologizing when needed, and doing the next right thing even when no one is watching.

The small things matter because they are often where God is shaping our character, strengthening our discipline, and preparing us for what comes next.

Do not overlook what is right in front of you today. Be faithful there.

Behind that number are fathers, mothers, spouses, friends, teammates, and loved ones whose lives mattered deeply.

At Mighty Oaks, we believe there is still hope, still purpose, and still a path forward. No one should have to carry the weight of trauma, loss, or hopelessness alone.

If you are struggling, reaching out is not weakness. It is a step forward.
