This page was opened to help parents and the community be aware of what is an ongoing problem in schools throughout the country. We are here to help feed the kids that do not have an up-to-date balance in his/her account at school. No child should have to eat the alternative lunch, aka "the cheese sandwich." This is what they get, if anything (districts aren't required to even feed them) if there

isn't money in their school account. This is heart breaking if you've ever seen the face of a child watching his/her friend eating a nutritional meal.... No child should go through this.
