We raised $609,529.80! Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and donors, our Spring Breakfast Gathering was a huge success. These funds go towards the daily work of community development in OST/South Union. Thank you to everyone who partners with us, whether that be financially, by volunteering, or in prayer. We could not do it without you!

Happy Volunteer Appreciation Week! We recently thanked our fantastic volunteers with a celebratory pie-themed event. Agape Development relies heavily on our dedicated volunteer partners and we are grateful to have such a wonderful group of people to work alongside. We hope you feel appreciated every week of the year, but especially this one!

Today is an exciting day because it’s Alaysia’s birthday! Alaysia joined the Agape Team in September 2023 and has filled many roles since then!

She currently serves as a Teen Ministry Program Assistant, but she brings so many talents and skills to the table! From supporting our fundraising events to creating amazing reels and social media content, Alaysia has done so much for the Agape Family!

It is truly a joy to know her and to see the ways she invests in the lives of our teens, always willing to go the extra mile and show up with encouragement and care!

In her free time, Alaysia loves to dance and try new resturaunts!

Happy Birthday, Alaysia! We hope you dance the night away and have an amazing day celebrating! 💃🏾🎶

Help us wish Christian a wonderful birthday today! Christian joined the Agape Team last October and currently serves as one of our incredible Backyard Bible Club Teachers!

He brings a calm presence and wisdom to the team and to our BBC students! Some of you may even remember him dressing up as Santa last Christmas! 🎅

Outside of work, Christian is also an active part of our Young Adult Ministry. Fun fact: He actually led a Bible Study at a Young Adult Night last year! We are so proud of the growth and leadership he continues to show!

Another fun fact about Christian is that he was in his high school band! In his free time, he enjoys drawing, listening to music, and going on walks!

On Thursday, we hosted our Spring Breakfast Gathering, celebrating 21 years of being rooted in faith, love, and community in OST/South Union. So far, we have raised $578,024.94! This would not have been possible without the support of our event chairs, Elise & Evans Swann and Lori & Chip Johnson, our table sponsors, and our generous donors. Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and donated - your contributions were crucial to making this event such a success!

The Agape Shaved Ice Program (ASIP) equips neighborhood youth with real-world job experience, financial literacy, and discipleship, preparing them for their future careers and calling. Starting June 11th through November 1st, our amazing middle school students and high school supervisors will be serving up delicious shaved ice and gaining valuable work experience along the way.

Do your summer plans include:

Agape's middle schoolers just returned from an amazing retreat at Camp Tejas. The theme of the weekend was "The Heart of Worship," with a focus on pleasing God and worshiping with reverence & awe, as we are called in Hebrews 12:28. The students had a blast dancing, axe throwing, kayakking, making candles, and journaling. Check out a recap of their time!

Please join us in wishing Journey a very Happy Birthday! Journey has been a part of the Agape family since the very beginning and now serves as one of our amazing Backyard Bible Club teachers!

She truly has a gift for working with our BBC students and beautifully role models what it looks like to live a Christ-centered life. Journey's passion for encouraging others to grow in their faith is incredible and so needed! She brings energy, love, and fun everywhere she goes!

If you know Journey, you also know how much she loves Star Wars!🌟

We are so grateful to have her pouring into the lives of our BBC students. Happy Birthday, Journey! May the Force be with you! ✨

“It is finished.”

Three words that changed everything. On this Good Friday, we remember the depth of love shown through Christ's sacrifice. We celebrate the promises that were fulfilled on the cross. What looked like an ending was actually the beginning of hope, grace, and redemption for us all.
